There is a need to communicate with people everyday, be it at the bookshop, coffeeshop or at home. We learn how to talk to people in different styles and manners so that we can engage in an active communication. It is evident that communication plays a big part in our life to make our lives easier and better.
In a fast moving society, effective communication plays an important role in accomplishing tasks. I feel that there is a need for us to grasp the technique of conveying our messages across clearly. Messages not forwarded properly to others may become truncated. This may bring misinterpretation of content or emotions to people.
As an LG mobile promoter, many people look ato me as a trained professional in sales and product knowledge. There is a need for me to have good communication skills so that I can bring my ideas and explanations well to my customers. I've learn that communication skills involves listening to people's needs before promoting the item I am focusing on; be patient and explaining slowly to customers who have difficulty understanding my style of presentation. However, I feel that there are so much more room for improvement so as to further hone the skill of communication. This is because learning from personal breakthroughs and from others will help me in my future job and to express myself better.
I hope that I will be learning communication skills not only from the facilitator, but also from other classmates in my session group. Like many others, I will be looking forward to all the sessions we're going to have as a group in this course. Let us enjoy this module together!
